Mannus re-signs, Chambers exits Rovers
Shamrock Rovers have confirmed that goalkeeper Alan Mannus has re-signed with the club for the 2011 season.
Mannus, who recently won the Airtricity/SWAI Goalkeeper of the Year award, put pen to paper for the Hoops on Monday evening.
The Northern Ireland international was ever-present for the Hoops during the 2010 championship winning season and adds to an already strong Rovers side.
Meanwhile, Scottish Premier League's basement side Hamilton Academical have today announced the signing of midfielder James Chambers. Chambers, who will be 24 in three weeks, joins having won the Premier Division with Shamrock Rovers last season.
The midfielder has previously been with Shelbourne and Drogheda United and Waterford United. James has signed till the end of next season.
