Trapattoni names 29-man Carling squad

Giovanni Trapattoni has named a 29-man provisional squad for Carling Nations Cup cup game against Wales in Aviva stadium on February 8.
Ciaran Clarke and Seamus Coleman are both in line for a first cap while Kevin Kilbane has kept his place despite dropping to League 1 side Huddersfield Town on loan.
Giovanni Trapattoni said, "I am looking forward to the opening game of the Carling Nations Cup against Wales. This competition provides our players with familiar and tough opponents and the added competitive edge to the tournament is the perfect preparation for our EURO qualifying campaign."
The squad will meet up on Sunday February 6 and will prepare for their first game of 2011.
Keepers: Shay Given, Keiren Westwood.
Defenders: John O'Shea, Ciaran Clark, Seamus Coleman, Richard Dunne, Sean St. Ledger, Kevin Foley, Kevin Kilbane, Stephen Kelly, Darren O'Dea, Paul McShane, Marc Wilson.
Midfielders: Darron Gibson, Glenn Whelan, Paul Green, Liam Lawrence, Stephen Hunt, Aiden McGeady, Keith Treacy, Damien Duff, Keith Fahey.
Strikers: Robbie Keane, Jonathan Walters, Kevin Doyle, Shane Long, Andy Keogh, Leon Best, Anthony Stokes.
