Connor reveals Galway United squad

Sean Connor has revealed the players that have so far committed themselves for Galway United's 2011 Airtricity League Premier Division campaign.
The club have hit the headlines for the wrong reasons during the pre-season so far with financial uncertainty surrounding the club, but Connor now seems to have not been effected and has continued his preparations.
Connor held his first day of pre-season training today in Galway and revealed his squad to date. Negotiations are believed to have been concluded with a number of players in the last couple of days as the number of first team players confirmed this evening hit double figures.
Gary Curran, Stephen Walsh, Conor Winn, Gary Kelly, Shane Keogh, Rhys Meynell, Enda Curran, Paul Sinnott, Alan Murphy and Steve Feeney have all signed for Sean Connor’s first team squad so far.
Gerard Cheevers, Evan Preston Kelly, Igor Cunha, Eduardo Laceda, Thiago Olivera, Igor Vianna, Wallace Xaviar, Renan Santos, David O'Connell, Paul Smith, Dave Butterfield, Arthur Zokli, Ray King, Rory Gartlan and Shane McInerney are all expected to feature for the clubs ‘A’ Championship side while filling in for the first team when required and also with the future in mind.
Further signings and the completion of agreements are expected in the coming days.
