Extratime make Irish Web Awards Shortlist
Extratime.ie is delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted in two categories for the 2010 Realex Irish Web Awards, which will be held at Dublin’s Mansion House on Saturday, October 16th.
The site has been nominated in the categories for ‘Best Web Only Publication’ and ‘Best Sports Site,’, while we are also longlisted for the ‘Best Facebook Page for a Business or Organisation’ award.
This continues on from last year’s shortlisting in the same categories.
Speaking after the shortlist was released, Extratime.ie founder Gareth Penrose said, “It is a great honour to get nominated again this year. The team that works on Extratime do it on a voluntary basis and the effort and time they put into this site is incredible. It’s a testament to their work.”
Organised by Damien Mulley, the Irish Web Awards have become a prestigious prize in the last three years for Irish web designers, and facing competition against the likes of gaa.ie in the sports category and state.ie in the web only category, Extratime will face stiff competition in both.
