Allen has soccer roots too having played for Swilly Rovers throughout the 1970’s and later with Lennon United until 1986.
Chairman John Campbell expressed his satisfaction with the appointment “We have gone to a professional structure on the field and we always knew this would require us to have a professional structure off it. We have been seeking to appoint a full time Commercial person for almost a year now and we are very happy to have Allen on board, and are confident he will be very successful for us”
Club Commercial & Marketing Officer Trevor Gordon said “We are working hard on so many fronts in relation to sponsorship and advertising at present that this is an ideal time for this appointment. We want to look after our sponsors properly and professionally and having a full time Commercial Manager is an important part of that. We hope that the businesses of the Northwest will continue to support us in this vitally important season.”
