Bohemians -v- St. Patrick's Athletic

Third hosts first in this Dublin derby at Dalymount Park on Friday night (7.45pm).

Should either side win, they will finish Friday night on top of the Airtricity League Premier Division.

Bohemians are unbeaten in nine domestic matches, and Pat Fenlon says “I firmly believe that we have a team here that’s capable of winning the league again and that’s what we are aiming to do.”

“We’ve only lost one in fourteen so I am happy enough, especially with the form we’ve showed since the mid season break. We’ve been fairly settled, the team is beginning to take shape and I’m quite pleased with our position in the table.”

Meanwhile, St. Pats sit on top of the table and Pete Mahon wants a performance similar to the one produced at Dalymount earlier in the season, “The last time we travelled to Dalymount we were top of the league and we left top of the league and that is our intention again for tomorrow night.”

Mahon was quick to point out however that the Bohs match needs to be treated as part of the bigger plan for this season: “Some might look at it as a showdown but there is no use in us beating Bohs and then losing the next three games and the same for them. It may give the winners a bit of a psychological advantage heading into the next set of games and with Bohs at home the pressure will be on them to deliver.”
