Merseyside trip to Sligo

Sligo Rovers will entertain Premier League outfit Everton at the Showgrounds on August 8th, kick-off 7pm.
The Merseysiders will face the Bit O’Red as they hone their skills towards the end of their pre-season and it will be a major financial boost for Rovers.
Ticket details will be announced soon, though the club have refused to comment further on the matter today.
It is believed that the friendly won’t disrupt their scheduled league fixture against Bray 48 hours previous.
The announcement comes after Athlone declared they will host La Liga’s Villareal in a friendly yesterday afternoon.
