Second placed St. Patrick’s Athletic welcome bottom of the table Bray Wanderers to Richmond Park this Tuesday evening. (Kick-off 7.45pm)

After a hard fought FAI Cup win on Friday night against Dundalk, Pete Mahon will be looking to go into the midseason break on a high with another strong performance against.

St. Pat’s picked up no new injuries from Friday night’s FAI Cup match at Oriel Park. Defender Derek Pender remains out with a knee injury while Garret Coughlan is out with a long-term injury list. Midfielder David McAllister is suspended.

Bray Wanderers have had a horrid season so far and lie rock bottom with just five points from 15 games. Long term injury victims Richie Baker, David Tyrrell and David O'Neill will miss out on the trip to Richmond Park. David Webster, who missed the trip to Derry on Friday, remains doubtful. Chris Shields and John Mulroy both picked up knocks at the Brandywell and no decision on their availability will be made until just before kick-off on Tuesday night. Dean Zambra who has missed the last seven games with a knee injury is back in the squad.

Speaking after the trip to Derry, Manager Eddie Gormley said he was very pleased with the performance. "Jake Kelly, John Mulroy and Shane O'Neill did very well, I really can't single anybody out, they all did well but its a pity we just couldn't hold out for the final few minutes but still we could have won it in injury time with Robbie's(Doyle)header, the 'keeper brought off a world class save."

Looking ahead to Tuesday night Gormley said "Once again its going to be a big ask for us going to Richmond Park as they are a very good side, but we will give it our best shot and if we show the same commitment and effort as we did in Derry then we could get something from the game."

Extratime Prediction: St. Pats to win 3-1.
