FAI Cup Fourth round draw unveiled
The Fourth Round draw for the Ford FAI Cup was made live on RTE’s MNS
programme on Monday night and it threw up some fascinating ties. First
out of the hat were Galway United and Salthill Devon who will meet at
Terryland Park in a game which should capture the imagination of the
city’s football public.
Derby games were also pulled out for Finn Harps and Sligo Rovers with Harps to have home advantage and for Bohemians and Shelbourne who will meet at Dalymount Park.
Elsewhere UCD were drawn against the winners of Bray Wanderers and Derry City, and Saint Pats were given a home draw against non-league Belgrove, a side formerly managed by Pete Mahon the current boss at Richmond Park.
Record Cup winners Shamrock Rovers will bring back memories of the glory days to Flancare Park as they travel to Longford Town while Limerick FC will have to go to either Terryland Park to play Mervue United or Morten Stadium to face Sporting Fingal depending on which of them comes through their Third Round replay.
