Tolka Park will be the venue as Shelbourne face Dublin Bus in their opening fixture of the 2010 FAI Cup this Friday (kick-off 8pm).

Shels are nominally away for the tie, which sees the return to Tolka Park of a Reds legend.

Mark Rutherford makes his first appearance at the Drumcondra venue since leaving Shels at the start of last season, although this time ‘Sparky’ will play in Dublin Bus colours.

Rutherford started out in the League of Ireland at Shels in 1991 before embarking on a journeyman career that also took in Bohemians, Shamrock Rovers, St. Patrick's Athletic and Longford Town.

Caretaker boss Collie O’Neill enjoyed his first win in charge of Shels last week against Salthill Devon and will seek to begin a successful cup run against the Leinster Senior League (LSL) side.

Dublin Bus, who finished second in the Saturday Major 1 Division of the LSL will look to upset Shels who last year lost to LSL opposition in Crumlin United.

Shelbourne welcome back Michael Coburn and Stephen Quigley from injury, although Colin O’Brien is doubtful following an ankle injury picked up last week against Salthill.
