Sligo Rovers will be without Gary McCabe for the visit of Bray Wanderers to The Showgrounds in the Airtricity Premier Division on Saturday night.

McCabe is suspended after being sent off in last week's loss to Dundalk. The Bit o' Red also have a number of injury doubts.

Mauro Almeida (Achilles) is a long-term absentee while Iarhflaith Davoren is also out due to a hamstring complaint. Matthew Blinkhorn and Richie Ryan will be assessed closer to the match. John Russell is also in line for a place in the starting line-up after an impressive showing against Dundalk.

Bray Wanderers will be missing 6 players for the game. Shane O'Connor is suspended following his red card last Friday night. Richie Baker, Stephen Brennan, Dean Zambra, Dave Tyrrell and Dave O'Neill are all out injured.

Speaking after training last evening, Manager Eddie Gormley said "It was nice to get the win last Monday night. It was a good performance and we deserved the win. It was a good experience for the players to win after a penalty shoot-out".

"Looking forward, Sligo Rovers, are in my opinion, the best side we played this season. We did well against them at home and we will try to contain them and all I can ask from the players is to show the same level of commitment and effort that they displayed against Dundalk on Monday night", Gormley said.

The previous meeting between the side this season saw Sligo Rovers beat Wanderers 3-2 at the Carlisle in April. In the 4 meetings between the sides in the league last season Sligo won twice, Bray once and one was drawn.
