Premier Division Waterford have unveiled the signings of goalkeepers Bradley Wade and Stephen McMullan ahead of the 2025 season at the RSC.

Wade joins the Blues from Cork City, while McMullan - who is a Northern Ireland underage international - makes his move on loan from Fleetwood Town.

The arrival of Wade will be seen as a coup, with the Englishman being named in the PFAI First Division Team of the Year last term.

24-year-old Wade even earned 20 clean sheets for Tim Clancy’s side who won the First Division.

“I’m happy to sign for Waterford, and looking forward to working with Keith Long & Brian Murphy in particular. The manager has explained his ambitions to me for the team for the coming season and I’m looking forward to being part of it.”

Armagh man McMullan also joins from Fleetwood, with the former Warrenpoint Town netminder capped at under-18, 19 and 21 level for Northern Ireland.

“I’m buzzing to be here, really looking forward to get going. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the club, and I’m just raring to go now,” he said.
