Former Liverpool youth Niall Brookwell joins Kerry
Kerry have confirmed the acquisition of Niall Brookwell ahead of the 2025 First Division.
22-year-old Brookwell signed for the Kingdom from Cork City where he made 15 appearances last season.
The utility player, who can play in defence and midfield, has played for Liverpool and Newcastle United at youth level - with a further stint at senior level at Darlington in 2022.
“I’m buzzing to get the deal all sorted after speaking to the manager and CEO,” he said.
“They made it very clear where this club is going and straight away it was something that I wanted to be a part of.
“I’m looking forward to getting pre-season out the way and into the season in front of the Kerry fans in Mounthawk Park.”
