Carlisle United sign Sean Fusire on loan from Sheffield Wednesday

Carlisle United have added to their midfield with the signing of 19-year-old Sean Fusire on loan from Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season.
Fusire, who has been with Sheffield Wednesday throughout his career has made six first-team appearances for The Owls, including four starts in this season’s Carabao Cup.
The midfielder made his senior debut in February 2023 during an FA Cup clash with Fleetwood Town.
Head Coach Mike Williamson expressed his enthusiasm for the new addition, stating: "Sean is a very exciting player. He’s dynamic, young, and hungry to impress. He fits perfectly with our principles. We identified him very early on as a target, and we’re very happy to have him joining us."
Sporting director Rob Clarkson also praised Fusire's qualities, saying: "We are delighted to welcome Sean to the club on loan until the end of the season. He is a player who possesses good technical ability as well as really good athleticism."
