Hysa re-signs trio for Bohemians 2025 season

New Bohemians Women’s manager, Alban Hysa, has announced his first three re-signings ahead of the new season - and they’re all key players.
Goalkeeper and captain Rachael Kelly has committed to another campaign, much to Hysa’s relief, as she remains one of the league’s top goalkeepers. Kelly was ever-present for the Phibsborough club in 2024.
Central midfielder Fiona Donnelly, a pivotal figure at the heart of the Bohemians team, has also re-signed.
Hysa’s third re-signing is Donnelly’s partner in centre midfield, pocket dynamo Aoibhe Brennan, who had a terrific season in 2024, playing in all 27 of the club’s league and cup matches.
Speaking to the club’s social media account, Hysa praised the leadership qualities of Kelly and Donnelly saying, “They lead by example on and off the pitch and are two brilliant ambassadors for the club.”
Hysa was equally enthusiastic about the talent of Brennan.
“We all saw how talented Aoibhe was last year in her first season with the club and will be even better now after gaining that experience."
"She is a fantastic prospect and exactly the type of talented young player we want to nurture at the club.”
