Preston North End striker Layton Stewart has signed on loan for Swiss outfit FC Thun.
The 22 year old was in the Liverpool Academy, where he scored 43 goals in 59 underage games as well as finding the net against Napoli and Genk in the UEFA Youth League.
He landed at Preston in the summer of 2023, represented Preston 16 times in the 2023/24 Championship and has been capped for England at Under 18 level.
Second tier outfit Thun are managed by former Switzerland Under 21 manager Mauro Lustrinelli and currently top the table.
