Spurs add Denmark’s Holdt to their squad
Tottenham Hotspur have secured the signing of Denmark international Olivia Holdt, pending international clearance and a work visa. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has agreed to a contract with the club until June 2027 and will don the number 11 shirt.
Holdt began her professional career at VSK Aarhus before joining Fortuna Hjørring in 2020. Over two seasons with the Danish side, she made an impact, scoring 16 goals in 45 matches.
Her efforts helped Fortuna Hjørring claim the Danish Cup in 2022 and finish as league runners-up that same season.
In 2022, Holdt moved to Swedish champions FC Rosengård, where her goalscoring continued. Across three seasons in the Damallsvenskan, Sweden’s top division, she netted 25 goals in 47 appearances. Thirteen of those goals came during the most recent campaign, contributing to Rosengård’s league title triumph.
The midfielder also brings valuable UEFA Women’s Champions League experience, having competed in the tournament with both Fortuna Hjørring and FC Rosengård.
At the international level, Holdt made her senior debut for Denmark in April 2021 and has since earned seven caps for her national team.
