League of Ireland duo complete Irish League moves
Tadhg Ryan and Robbie Mahon have both completed moves to the Irish League after leaving Derry City and Dundalk respectively.
Ryan has joined Glenavon, while Mahon has linked up with Loughgall.
Glenavon’s swoop for keeper Ryan is a coup though, with the 27-year-old previously on the books of Bohemians, Cork City, Treaty United and Derry City.
The Limerick lad has signed an 18-month deal with the Mourneview Park outfit.
“I am delighted to join Glenavon,” he said. “I am excited at the prospect of working with Paddy McLaughlin again and helping the club to be successful.
“I have had a good two years with Derry but feel that I am ready for a new challenge. From the conversations I have had with Paddy, I think I will enjoy the challenge of playing for Glenavon in the Irish Premiership.”
Former Bohemians winger Mahon also joins Loughgall after spending the 2024 season with Dundalk.
He made 19 appearances for the Lilywhites during his spell at Oriel Park.
