Striker Enda Curran has confirmed that he has retired from League of Ireland football.

The former Galway United, Treaty United, Athlone Town, Derry City, Longford Town and Mervue United player made 275 appearances at League of Ireland level and scored 100 goals.

Curran was most recently on the books of Treaty United - though he left them at the end of the 2024 season.

He bagged 11 goals last term though it was heavily impacted by injury.

His last set of goals came against Longford Town in August when scoring a hat-trick in a 4-1 victory at Bishopsgate.

“275 games and 100 goals later, my days of playing in the League of Ireland have come to an end,” he wrote on social media.

“Many highs and lows throughout the 12 years playing in the greatest league in the world and I wouldn’t have changed a single thing!

“Thanks for the memories. Enda.”
