Conor Keeley returns to Drogheda United
Drogheda United have confirmed defender Conor Keeley has returned to the club after a stint with St Patrick’s Athletic this season.
The Dunboyne native made 37 appearances for the Boynesiders in 2023 before joining the Saints.
While at Richmond Park, Keeley made 19 appearances for the Athletic before exiting.
He is the second new signing made by Kevin Doherty for 2025, after the addition of goalkeeper Jack Brady.
“I’m delighted to be back,” Keeley said after joining the FAI Cup holder.
“I know I was only here for a year but it really felt like home. I’ve kept in contact with a lot of people in the club and to be back is an unbelievable feeling.
“It’s exciting times at the club. The lads did unbelievable, particularly in the second half of the season. Winning the cup was massive for both the club and the town, and I was delighted for everyone involved.
“I’ve always said that the Drogs fans are the best in the league and I’m just so excited to get back out there and play in front of them again.”
