Sam Glenfield makes Waterford switch permanent after loan from Fleetwood Town
Waterford have announced the permanent signing of Sam Glenfield from Fleetwood Town on a multi-year deal.
Glenfield joined the Blues in July of this year on a loan deal for the remainder of the 2024 League of Ireland season.
And he has now made the permanent move to the RSC ahead of 2025.
“I had a great time at Waterford in the summer and I’m happy to have signed a new contract. I think we can continue where we left off last season,” he told waterfordfc.ie.
“The gaffer and his backroom team trusted me last year and I’m looking to repay them by hitting the ground running.
“Last year, the fans were amazing, and I’m looking forward to seeing them again and getting back out on the pitch with the lads.”
