LSL Senior Sunday: Usher Celtic strike late to see off Wayside Celtic, with St Francis and Tolka Rovers claiming wins
Usher Celtic maintained their fine start to the season with a narrow 2-1 victory over Wayside Celtic on Friday night at Jackson Park.
The North Dublin side have now won six of their first eight league games following their promotion to the top-flight.
Though they fell behind in this clash against Wayside with Cormac Kelly handing the South Dubliners a first half lead.
Jordan Buckley however struck to level matters - before winning it in second half injury time.

Usher are now nine points behind leaders Kilbarrack United but have played three matches less than the Greendale Road outfit.
Meanwhile, Bangor Celtic drew 1-1 at home against Killester Donnycarney at the Transport Club.
Troy Stedman netted for Bangor, while Owen Jones was on target for Killester Donnycarney.

Prior to the weekend’s action, Tolka Rovers claimed a convincing 5-0 win over Killester Donnycarney.
James Woods netted a brace for the Frank Cooke Park side, with Byron Preston, Dylan Paget and Tyrick Reilly also on target.

Zach Donohue scored two with Jack O’Connor also rattling the net.
Meanwhile, Bluebell United drew 1-1 against Maynooth Town with Troy Carey bagging an equaliser after John Tracey scored for Maynooth.
