Gavin Gilmore pens new Finn Harps contract
First Division Finn Harps have unveiled the re-signing of Gavin Gilmore ahead of the 2025 First Division.
The former Athlone Town and Galway United youth joined the Co Donegal side midway through the 2024 campaign and will remain there for another year at least.
Though the club have confirmed that goalkeeper Tim Oliver-Heimer and midfielder Bruce Strachan have left Darren Murphy’s ranks.
Gilmore, however, provides a boost with his return and made six appearances in the second half of last season.
“We’re delighted that Gavin has agreed to return to the club for next season,” Murphy said. “It is never easy joining a team in the middle of the season.
“But myself and my staff have been really impressed with Gavin’s commitment and how he has progressed since joining the club. I’m looking forward to working with him again next year.”
