First Division champions Cork City have confirmed the departure of six players following the end of the season.

The Rebel Army secured promotion back to the top flight, concluding their campaign with a resounding 6-0 home victory over Wexford on 18th October.

With preparations underway for next season, the anticipated changes to the squad were confirmed today.

Brad Wade, John O'Donovan, Cian Bargary, Aidan Dowling, Jack Doherty, and Cian Murphy have all left the club.

In a statement, manager Tim Clancy said: "We would like to thank all of the lads and wish them the best in their future careers. In particular, we acknowledge the two Cians and John, who all came through the academy and have been with the club for a number of years."
