COBH RAMBLERS

Cobh Ramblers conclude their First Division campaign on Friday evening when they host Bray Wanderers at St Colman’s Park (kick-off is at 7.45pm).

Ramblers have endured a patchy season having lost several of their stars from last year’s stunning run to the playoffs under former boss Shane Keegan.

Though they can still finish seventh if they better Treaty United’s result away to Finn Harps on the final day.

Saying that, improving on last weekend’s dismal 2-0 defeat away to Longford Town will undoubtedly be high on their agenda first.

Gary Hunt’s side have not divulged any team news for the game but they do at least have nobody suspended for the St Colman’s Park showdown.

BRAY WANDERERS

With their playoff spot secured and unable to finish above fifth place, Bray Wanderers face a stress free visit to Cork to take on Cobh Ramblers.

Led by first-team coaches Paul Heffernan and Gavin Teehan in recent weeks, the Seagulls had their top-five berth sealed on Monday night after Finn Harps fell to defeat against Wexford.

And they have been boosted ahead of this weekend with left-sided star Kieran Cruise returning from suspension. Evan Osam is also back in team training but is rated as a doubt to play against Cobh.

The Seagulls drew 2-2 on their last visit to face Ramblers at St Colman’s Park with Conor Knight and Cole Omorehiomwan both scoring that night.

Referee: Alan Patchell.
