Darragh Crowley pens new deal with Cork City

First Division champions Cork City have confirmed that Darragh Crowley has signed a new deal with the club to keep him there for the 2025 campaign.

Crowley, 24, has made over 100 first-team appearances for the Turner’s Cross side since making his debut in 2019.

And despite the Kinsale man missing out on the second half of last season, he has been a regular name in Tim Clancy’s starting XI this term.

He will now get another shot at Premier Division football next year.

“It’s good to get it done early. It’s the earliest I’ve had a contract done, so it’s good to know that I can get a good pre-season behind me,” Crowley said.

“I’ll be working hard for the next few months ahead of the new season. There’s a lot of excitement around the club at the moment, so I’m looking forward to what’s to come.”

Cork City will lift the First Division title on Friday night at Turner’s Cross when they host Wexford (kick-off is at 7.45pm).
