In Pictures: Derry City 1 - 1 Bohemians

John Paul McGinley reports from the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium

Derry City missed another opportunity to close the gap on leaders Shelbourne as they slumped to a 1-1 draw against Bohemians at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium on Friday night.

The Candystripes remain third in the table and are now three points behind the summit with a game in hand on the Reds.

But it could have been worse if Bohs held on for a win after Archie Meekison opened the scoring for the Gypsies in the first half.

Patrick Hoban, however, netted his 14th league goal of the season to nab a point.
