Munster Senior League top-flight leaders Ringmahon Rangers have been handed a home draw against Malahide United in the third round of the FAI Intermediate Cup.

The Cork outfit boast a 100% win record in the MSL this season and have already defeated fellow Leeside opponents Everton (5-1) and Rockmount (1-0) in the first two rounds.

And they will be hoping to advance against a Malahide United side who have won just once in the LSL top-flight.

But Kevin Craven’s men - who have former League of Ireland attacker Sam Verdon within their ranks - have already come through ties against St Francis and Dunboyne AFC to reach this stage of the competition.

Meanwhile, MSL side Midleton will host Inchicore Athletic after the Dubliners knocked out Kilbarrack United in the second round of the competition last weekend on penalties. Midleton reached this stage following a thumping 8-1 triumph over Lakewood Athletic.

Dublin side Wayside Celtic face a trip to Cork to face Leeds AFC, while Arklow Town host Tolka Rovers in the third round. Tolka Rovers dumped out holders Glebe North in the previous round.

River Valley Rangers will take on the winners of the tie between Riverstown and Carrigtwohill United, Douglas Hall will take on St Mary’s or Wilton United, while UCD host Baldoyle United.

Crumlin United will take on Bandon or Macroom, UCC are scheduled to face Dublin Bus, with Blarney United or Mayfield United set to face Usher Celtic at home.

Ballymun United will take on the winners of the tie between College Corinthians and Temple United, with Ballyfermot United set to face Bangor Celtic in an all-LSL showdown.

St Mochta’s will face TEK United at home, Liffey Wanderers have been drawn to face Passage and Drogheda Town will take on Leicester Celtic.

Killester Donnycarney will face the winners of the tie between Blackrock College and Lucan United. All ties are due to be played on the weekend of November 3rd.
