Dundalk have addressed recent speculation confirming that the club is in discussions with several potential investors, both domestic and international.
The statement comes amidst growing concerns about the club's future, as the next 24 hours are described as a "critical time" for Dundalk.
The club acknowledged the spread of "rumours and false information" online but assured fans that negotiations are progressing.
"Our owner is in discussions with different groups, domestically and overseas," a club statement read.
"We hope that we can get a deal done that keeps us going forward."
This development comes at a time when the club faces financial uncertainties, with staff and players having been paid late last week.
