Watford have signed 20-year-old Belgian midfielder Pierre Dwomoh from Royal Antwerp on a permanent deal.

The young midfielder began his professional career with Genk, where he made two appearances before moving to Royal Antwerp in July 2021.

During his time with Antwerp, Dwomoh made five appearances in the Belgian Pro League.

He also gained experience on loan at Oostende and RWD Molenbeek in Belgium, and at SC Braga in Portugal, where he played from September 2022 to January 2023.

Expressing his excitement about joining Watford, Dwomoh said, "I'm very happy to be here, it's a big club. I'm happy that I'll be able to soon show what I'm able to do on the field."

He described himself as a player who enjoys technical challenges and supporting his teammates, saying, "I'm technical, I like duels, I like to run as well. I like to help my teammates, I like to jump in and just be there for them."
