Birmingham City bring in Ben Davies on loan while Tommy Fogarty heads to Dunfermline
Birmingham City have confirmed two loan deals, with Ben Davies joining the club and Tommy Fogarty moving out on a temporary basis.
Ben Davies, a 29-year-old defender, arrives at Birmingham City on loan from Rangers for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
Over the past two years, Davies has played for Rangers, helping them secure the Scottish League Cup last December.
Before his stint in Scotland, he made 246 appearances across the English lower leagues, at Preston North End and Sheffield United.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old defender Tommy Fogarty has been loaned to Dunfermline Athletic for the season.
Fogarty spent the previous season on loan with Ebbsfleet United in the Vanarama National League.
Fogarty has been with Birmingham City since signing his first professional contract in July 2022 after progressing through the youth ranks.
He has also represented both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland at the youth international level.
