Girona FC have completed the signing of Yáser Asprilla from Watford FC, securing the Colombian winger until the end of the 2029-2030 season.
The 20-year-old footballer started his career at Envigado FC in Colombia. Asprilla made his debut for Envigado's senior team at just 17, quickly making a name for himself.
In 2022, Asprilla made the leap to European football by joining Watford FC, then competing in England’s Championship. During his time with the Hornets, he made over 81 matches.
Asprilla netted six goals and seven assists last season, which earned him the Young Player of the Season award.
The Colombian international has also made his mark on the national stage. He has represented his country at various levels, including a runner-up finish with the senior team at the 2024 Copa America.
