Watch: UCD cause FAI Cup shock with win over Sligo Rovers
First Division UCD secured an FAI Cup shock away to Sligo Rovers on Saturday night with a stunning 2-0 win over Sligo Rovers.
The Students, who are third in the second-tier, are 16 points off league leaders Cork City.
But they have found their rhythm in recent weeks, with their triumph over Sligo Rovers their fourth win in their last five outings.
Ireland under-19 international Luke O’Regan opened the scoring for Willie O’Connor’s Students in the 78th minute at the Showgrounds with a fine effort.
And just four minutes later, Adam Wells tapped into an empty net from a corner-kick to seal UCD’s progression into the quarter-finals.
What a hit O'Regan!

Kerry could also join them when they face Bohemians at Mounthawk Park on Sunday afternoon.
Kick-off in the Kingdom is at 4pm.
