Conor Walsh has debuted for two different clubs in the First Division this season and both occasions included referee Oliver Moran and Finn Harps.

On April 5th, Walsh manned the Harps goal as Moran reffed the Donegalmen against UCD.

This weekend Moran was once again in the middle as Walsh enjoyed a first outing for Wexford as they beat Harps.

Hayden Cann made both his Drogheda United and Dundalk FC debuts at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium. On both occasions, Dundalk drew 1-1 away from home.

Bradley Wade has kept 17 clean sheets and never conceded more than once in a single game for Cork City this season. He has only conceded 3 times in 14 league games at Turner's Cross.

Friday night's encounter at Turner's Cross was Athlone Town’s first goalless draw since the last regular season game of 2023- 27 games ago. Alan Patchell was the referee on both occasions.

Thomas Oluwa scored for Wexford, who have never lost when he has found the net in the league (8 times so far).

Neighbours Waterford had the same (7 league strikes) and it's a further 5 goals netted before we find a loss as Oluwa’s Athlone Town side were defeated 2-1 by Treaty United in June 2022.

Dawson Devoy’s last two goals at Dalymount Park came in 3-2 defeats for the home side in games which included an own goal. In 2022, Keith Long's Bohs were defeated. In 2024, Keith Long's Waterford beat Bohs.

Danny Mullen and John Mountney scored in Derry City's draw with Dundalk- preserving their respective unbeaten run for their current team when scoring.

Mullen has netted 11 times without losing in the same game since arriving at the Candystripes last July while Mountney’s 32nd strike for Dundalk meant he has never tasted defeat in any match he has found the net for The Lilywhites.

In fact, according to Dundalk based reporter James Rogers, it was the first time they ever dropped points in a game where he was on the scoresheet for the Lilywhites.

Prior to the 21st July, Wilson Waweru had started three times this season at The Showgrounds and recorded one home goal.

Since then, he's had three starts and found the net 5 times- a hat trick against Cobh Wanderers before netting against Galway United and Shelbourne in recent weeks.

Douglas James-Taylor has netted 4 times for Drogheda United since joining on loan from Walsall.

75% of these strikes have been against goalkeepers born in Germany (2 against Frankfurt born Dundalk loanee Felix Goddard and 1 against Hamburg born Leon Pohls). Strangely, referee Rob Hennessy was the man in the middle on both occasions.

On Monday night, Aaron Dobbs scored at the Athlone Town Stadium for Wexford.

For the last two seasons, Aaron Dobbs has scored for Wexford against Athlone Town in each Ferrycarrig Park encounter.
