Shamrock Rovers’ progression in Europe has neccessitated the move of their away league match against Bohemians to Sunday 1 September with a Coldplay concert requiring early alarm clocks for the re-arranged derby kick off of 11.30 in the morning.

While Dalymount will be full of domestic stars and sparks may fly  on the pitch neccesitating some yellow cards, fans won’t be happy with the required early kick off on Gardaí instructions due to the Coldplay concert in Croke Park later that day.

The FAI confirmed that ‘on the instruction of An Garda Siochana, owing to resources required for Coldplay’s concert in Croke Park on the same date, the fixture will kick off at the earlier time of 11:30 at Dalymount Park.’
