Albanian and Lithuanian whistlers to take charge of Shamrock Rovers’ Europa League play-off

UEFA have confirmed the referee appointments, dates and kick-off times for both legs of the upcoming Europa League play-off between Shamrock Rovers and PAOK.

Enea Jorgji from Albania will be the referee for the first leg in Thessaloniki next Thursday between the Greek champions and the four-in-a-row League of Ireland champions.

Meanwhile Donatas Rumšas from Lithuania will take charge of the second leg in Tallaght Stadium on Thursday 29th August.

Kick-off in that game is 20:00.

The winners will go through to the revamped Europa League to play eight matches in the league stage running through to January 2025.

The loser drops directly into the league stage of the Conference League with six matches to be played.
