Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Australian international Clare Hunt from Paris Saint-Germain.

Hunt is set to join the North London club on a contract running until 2027. She will be wearing the number 15 shirt.

Clare Hunt, who was born in Grenfell, Australia, began her footballing journey with Canberra United.

She made her professional debut for the A-League side in November 2016 after progressing through their academy system.

In 2021, Hunt transferred to Western Sydney Wanderers. In her second season, she was appointed captain and played a major role in the team's campaign, missing just one match.

Her performances earned her a place in the PFA A-League’s Team of the Season and her first call-up to the Australia senior national team.

Hunt's success in Australia led to a move to Paris Saint-Germain in September 2023. During her time in France, she made 13 appearances in Ligue 1, contributing to PSG's second-place league finish and their victory in the French Cup, where they defeated Fleury 1-0 in the final.

Internationally, Hunt debuted for the Matildas in February 2023 and played during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She played in all seven matches as Australia reached the semi-finals, earning a spot in the tournament’s All-star XI. Most recently, she was selected for the 2024 Olympic squad, playing every minute of Australia's campaign in Paris.
