Scotland international Tommy Conway joins Middlesbrough from Bristol City
Middlesbrough have secured the services of striker Tommy Conway from Bristol City, with the 22-year-old signing a four-year contract.
Conway, who was named Bristol City's Young Player of the Year last season, impressed with 12 goals during the campaign. Since making his debut for the club, he accumulated nearly 100 appearances and found the back of the net 25 times.
The young striker also made his debut for Scotland earlier this summer and was included in Steve Clarke's squad for the Euros last month.
Middlesbrough head coach Michael Carrick expressed his enthusiasm for the new signing, saying, "We're delighted to bring Tommy in. He's a good age, he has great potential, and we're really excited to work with him. He's already got plenty of Championship experience, and he's a great addition to the squad."
Conway is the fifth senior signing for Boro this summer, joining Luke Ayling, Delano Burgzorg, Aidan Morris, and Micah Hamilton.
