Exeter City add Brighton’s Kamari Doyle on loan
Exeter City have bolstered their midfield with the addition of Kamari Doyle, who joins the club on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 19-year-old midfielder becomes the tenth signing of the summer for Exeter under the management of Gary Caldwell.
Doyle, who spent his formative years at Southampton’s academy, moved to Brighton’s academy in January. His senior debut came in a Carabao Cup match for Southampton against Gillingham last August, followed by his Premier League debut at Brighton on the penultimate day of the season.
He earned caps for England’s U19 side in June last year and has represented the country at U17 and U18 levels.
Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell expressed his excitement about the new signing, stating, "Kami is an intelligent young player and is technically very strong. We believe he can bring a lot of value to the team and strengthen our midfield and attacking area, and we’d like to thank Brighton for allowing this signing to happen."
Caldwell also highlighted the importance of maintaining good relationships with Premier League clubs, saying, "We hope this can be another good relationship we have with a Premier League team."
