Peter Grogan swaps Bray Wanderers for MLS side Austin
First Division promotion hopefuls Bray Wanderers have confirmed that striker Peter Grogan has left the club to join Austin in the MLS.
Grogan, 19, will initially join Austin’s reserve side who compete in the MLS Next Pro - with a view to forcing his way into their first-team squad.
The Laois native departs the Carlisle Grounds having scored seven times in 21 appearances in all competitions.
“Peter has been professional throughout this whole process,” said Bray’s Head of Football Pat Devlin.
“He has been excellent for the club since joining earlier this season. We thank him for his time at the club and wish him the very best in his career ahead.”
Grogan is a former Ireland schools international and was previously on the books of Bohemians and Carlow-Kilkenny before joining Bray Wanderers earlier this season.
The club can confirm that Peter Grogan has moved to join Austin FC II in the United States.

The striker made 21 appearances in all competitions during the 2024 season - scoring seven league goals.
