West Ham United have officially secured the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United, with the right-back agreeing to a seven-year contract.

Wan-Bissaka, 26, brings a wealth of experience to the Hammers, having made 190 appearances for Manchester United over the past five seasons.

The London-born player, who graduated from the Crystal Palace Academy, has been a Premier League regular since he was 19. He has also gained valuable experience on the European stage, with 35 appearances in continental competitions and caps for England at the Under-21 level.

Wan-Bissaka expressed his enthusiasm about returning to his hometown and joining West Ham:

“It was a no brainer for me to join West Ham – I’m excited and happy to be here. It’s an amazing feeling to be back in London, and I’m excited for what’s coming,” said Wan-Bissaka.

“I’m happy to be here, am grateful for the warm welcome, and I am excited to be playing for the club and will give it my all.”

He added, “I see a team that is in it together, that will push each other to win, and a group that has got each others' backs through thick and thin, so being part of that and having that insurance helps a lot when you are surrounded by a good squad.”
