Leicester City have bolstered their attacking options with the loan signing of Argentine winger Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton & Hove Albion for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

Buonanotte  made 40 appearances in England's top flight with Brighton, he also featured in the UEFA Europa League last season. His goal-scoring capabilities were on display during the last campaign, where he netted crucial goals against Sheffield United and Chelsea, contributing four goals and one assist overall.

Born in Pérez, Santa Fe, Buonanotte's football journey began at Club Atlético Rosario Central, where he joined the youth ranks at just 10 years old.

After years of development, he made his first-team debut in the Argentine Primera Division at the age of 18. His rapid rise caught the attention of Brighton, who signed him just six months after his professional debut in Argentina.

Buonanotte’s talent has also been recognised on the international stage. He made his senior debut for Argentina last year and has since earned two caps, having previously represented the Under-20s side.
