Chelsea's Eddie Beach joins Crawley Town on loan

Crawley Town have secured the services of 20-year-old goalkeeper Eddie Beach on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
Beach, who first joined Chelsea in June 2022, initially made his mark with Southampton before moving to Stamford Bridge.
During the first half of the 2022/23 season, he was a regular fixture in Chelsea’s development squad, racking up 14 appearances.
In January 2023, he went on loan to National League South side Chelmsford City, gaining further experience.
In the early part of the 2023/24 season, Beach made 11 appearances for Chelsea's Under-21 team and even found himself on the bench for several of Chelsea's senior squad matches.
However, a move to Gateshead for the latter part of the season was hindered by illness, limiting his playing time. Most recently, Beach returned from Chelsea’s pre-season tour of America, ready to make his mark with Crawley Town.
