Day 2 at the Galway Cup was another resounding success, featuring 31 thrilling matches.
Six teams made their tournament debut: Aisling Annacotty, Athlone Town Academy, Galway Centre of Excellence, Seattle Celtic, Colorado Rapids, and Leeds United.

The highlight of the day was the eagerly anticipated clash between Leeds United and Colorado Rapids, with both teams playing their second match of the day. Colorado Rapids proved too strong for Leeds, securing a 2-0 victory.
Finn Harps, coached by League of Ireland legend Kevin McHugh, stand out as the only team with two wins from two in the Super Elite category.
