Gillingham add Northern Ireland youth international Euan Williams to squad

Gillingham have completed the signing of ex-Charlton Athletic midfielder Euan Williams, just in time for their upcoming match against Carlisle United in Sky Bet League 2.
The 21-year-old has been training with the club for several weeks, culminating in a permanent contract agreement ahead of Saturday’s game.
Williams, originally from Bexley, rose through the youth system at Charlton and debuted against Gillingham in an EFL Trophy match in August 2022. He has also represented Northern Ireland at the U19 and U21 levels.
"I have enjoyed settling in with the lads," Williams said about his integration into the team.
"We have had quite a few games over the past few weeks which has been really good."
Describing his playing style, Williams added, "I am very high energy, I like to play forward and run forward, I make runs in behind. I am nice, neat and tidy on the ball and I create chances. Hopefully I can pop up with a few goals as well."
