Indonesian international Elkan Baggott loaned to Blackpool from Ipswich
Blackpool have secured the services of Elkan Baggott on a season-long loan from Ipswich Town.
The 21-year-old defender, an Indonesian international with 24 caps, progressed through the Ipswich Academy.
He has gained significant first-team experience with loan spells at Kings Lynn, Gillingham, Cheltenham Town, and Bristol Rovers.
Expressing his enthusiasm about joining Blackpool, Baggott remarked, “It’s a great feeling to finally be here and I’m excited to play my part in what will hopefully be a successful season for the club.”
He highlighted the positive discussions he had with the Head Coach and Sporting Director, noting the team's playstyle and the encouraging feedback from fellow players.
“The way the team plays, the group that is already here – it’s all extremely positive. I know a number of other players who are here too and they’ve all had good things to say.”
Baggott added, “I’m looking forward to the upcoming season and can’t wait to get started!”
