Dutch star Xavi Simons to stay at Leipzig for another season

RB Leipzig have confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain attacker Xavi Simons will rejoin them on loan for another season.
The Dutch international, who boasts 20 senior caps, will don the number 10 shirt for the upcoming season.
Simons had an impressive debut season at Leipzig, contributing 25 goals in 43 appearances across all competitions, including 15 assists.
His return marks a significant reinforcement for the club’s attacking lineup, following Benjamin Šeško’s contract extension until 2029.
During the European Championship in Germany, Simons was a standout player for the Netherlands, scoring once and providing three assists.
He finished as the tournament’s third-best goal contributor and the second-best in assists.
