Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara has secured a permanent transfer to Turkish club Galatasaray.
Sara, who joined Norwich City from São Paulo in the summer of 2022, scored 21 goals and 17 assists across 96 competitive appearances.
During the 2022/23 season, Sara's impressive performances earned him the Barry Butler Memorial Trophy, awarded to Norwich City's player of the season as voted by the supporters.
Although he finished second in the voting last season, behind Kenny McLean, his contributions were recognised with a place in the Championship's team of the season at the EFL Awards.
The agreement between Galatasaray and Norwich City involves a transfer fee of EUR 18 million. Gabriel Sara has committed to a five-season contract with Galatasaray.
