Bohemians will look to move into fourth place in the Airtricity Premier Division on Saturday when they travel to The Showgrounds to face Sligo Rovers. (kick off 7.45pm)

Sligo Rovers played out a scoreless draw with Galway United on Tuesday night has left them third from bottom of the table.

Sligo Rovers will be without Mauro Almeida for Saturday the clash. Almeida is out for several months with an Achilles injury. Paul Cook has an otherwise fully fit squad to choose from.

Iarfhlaith Davoren returns from a hamstring injury, while Padraig Amond may return to the starting line-up after being left out in Galway.

John Russell has joined Paul Cook’s team until the end of the season. The midfielder is still recovering from an ankle injury picked up in the off-season however.

Bohs come into the game on a high after Monday’s victory over Drogheda United when a Ruaidhrí Higgins’s late goal gave Bohs a 1-0 win. This put Pat Fenlon’s men back on track and was their seventh points from the last three league games.

Bohs have major defensive problems ahead of the game. Mark Rossiter, Conor Powell, Steven Gray, Ken Oman and Owen Heary are all expected to miss Saturday’s game through injury.

“We played well overall and I think we deserved the win”, Fenlon said after Monday’s win over Drogheda. “Sligo are a decent side and it’s going to be tough. It’s always tough going up there, and this is not going to be any different.”

Bohs have won three of their five games away from home, scoring eight goals and conceding five. Sligo have been inconsistent at home this season so far where they have won just once in four games.

The sides played out a 0-0 draw in Dalymount Park in March. Bohs won four of the seven meetings last season in three different competitions with Sligo winning twice, and one draw.
