Zak Bradshaw joins Tranmere Rovers after Dundalk spell
Tranmere Rovers have secured the services of 20-year-old defender Zak Bradshaw on a season-long loan from Lincoln City.
Bradshaw, who began his youth career at Ipswich Town, offers manager Nigel Adkins more depth in the back line for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
Last season, the left-footed defender gained valuable experience on loan at Dundalk, amassing 62 senior appearances so far in his career.
“We are pleased to welcome the versatile defender Zak Bradshaw to our squad at Tranmere Rovers,” said manager Nigel Adkins.
“Whilst on loan from Lincoln City we are looking forward to working with him over the coming season.”
Bradshaw expressed his enthusiasm about joining Tranmere: “Since I heard there was interest from the club, it was a no-brainer for me. I want to go to a side fighting at the top and the manager has made it clear that that's the goal this season."
He added, "Nigel knows what a good footballer looks like and what it takes to get to the highest level which is ultimately where I want to go, so there is no better person to learn from. The fans are the reason we play football so we want to give them something to cheer about."
